Lately, many outstanding had infected virus applications in the Android market, to launch Google’s Bouncer. Bouncer is a service that can scan the Android Market application to see if the application is clean or virus.
Quoted from Ubergizmo, though Bouncer recently published lately, but it turns out this application has been in operation nearly a year. According to the developers of this application, between the first and second half of 2011, they saw a rise in the number of suspicious application downloads up to 40% of the Android Market.
Android is an open platform, making it very easy to be a target of malware. In fact, you can install applications without having to go through the Android Market, so it makes it more difficult to be supervised and inspected.
